Conversation 3: Your Money Mindset!

Hey!

When teaching financial literacy or advising a client, I always state one thing..

“No matter what I tell you or teach you, it won’t make a difference unless you are ready to change how you think about money”

If you continue to think, “ It’s too late for me to change”, “I don’t make enough to save”, “My credit is too bad”, “I’ve made too many bad choices to recover”, “I don’t know where to start”

You will never move forward!

Let’s talk…

I’ve made a ton of money mistakes, some I think about and move on. But some I continously regret and think, “Man I’ll be rich by now, had I done I just done it".

But at the end of the day, they are all in the past. It’s nothing I can do about them but learn, move on, and try to do better.

What has helped me get out of my head when starting to beat my self up, is reading finance books, talking to others about their financial struggles, and making a plan!

Your turn:

What money mistakes have you made? What have you learned from them or would like to learn from them?

What would help you turn these money mistakes around?
